So I went to the Shu Uemura counter over the week end to get another tube of my favorite nude lipstick. I was stricken with panic upon being told it had been a limited edition so they didn’t have it anymore. Now, I have a question – why do cosmetics companies do that to us? I mean, if they make something awesome, why would they stop making it? This reminds me of our recent Laura Mercier nail polish conversation. I just don’t understand… However, don’t fret! I may have found an answer! There is a company called Three Custom that will attempt to re-create the color of your favorite discontinued eye shadows, lipsticks and blushes. I haven’t tried it yet so if you do let us know how it turns out. Sounds pretty fantastic if they really can do what they say.
