This Saturday, in advance of Valentine’s Day, Dude, Sweet chocolatier Katherine Clapner will lead attendees of an event at Urbano Café through a wine and chocolate pairing that brings together two epicurean pleasures in a homey setting.

With a price tag of $15, the pairings will match five of Dude, Sweet’s sometimes funky, always creative and beautifully crafted chocolates with five wines from Pioneer Wines out of Carrollton. Clapner will be on hand to talk about ingredients and chocolate lore.

Go to pick up a vetted Valentine’s gift. Or go because you’ve been in withdrawal since the Dude, Sweet shop closed on Lowest Greenville, leaving you with no options north of the Trinity. Or go as an excuse to indulge in mid-afternoon chocolate and wine. The results can only be sweet.

Tickets are available here.

Where: Urbano Café

When: Sat., Feb. 9, 12-2pm
