Midnight Rambler
Get cozy in the art-deco-inspired watering hole in the basement of the Joule. One of favorite drinks listed on their seasonal menu: Jack Rose (1898), made with Applejack brandy, lemon juice, nutmeg, cranberry grenadine, garnished with bitter orange zest. The drink was a hot topic in the 1920s and 1930s and Hemingway even wrote about it in “The Sun Also Rises.”

The Tipsy Alchemist
This Uptown bar is part chemistry lab and part young professional haunt. Here, they’re known for their over-the-top presentations. Our favorite: Rosemary’s Revenge. Cucumber, lime, cinnamon, honey, and Green Chartreuse are blended beautifully and then garnished with a flaming rosemary sprig.
Jettison
Cocktail connoisseurs and java addicts alike will appreciate the often caffeinated spins on the classics at this comfy bar next to Houndstooth Coffee in Sylvan Thirty. Order a One of These Nights made from Lucano Amaro, Cognac, orgeat, Lemon, dry Curacao, cold brew coffee, and toasted star anise.
Hide Bar
This cocktail bar in Deep Ellum has transformed into a Miracle Christmas-themed pop-up for the holidays. Sip And A Partridge In A Pear Tree made from Reposado tequila, pear brandy, mezcal, spiced demerara syrup, lime, egg white, club soda, angostura bitters, and cinnamon. And while you’re at it, have a Snowball Old Fashioned made with gingerbread bourbon, wormwood bitters, and lemon zest.
