David Simpson was most recently COO of HopeWorks in Memphis and brings more than 14 years of nonprofit management experience to Teach For America DFW. In that role, he will oversee internal business operations, including finance, human resources, and marketing and communications. He will also be responsible for driving forward key initiatives surrounding culture transformation, advancing racial equity, and Fort Worth impact.

Matt Schendle will lead the firm’s office agency leasing practice in Dallas, overseeing more than 5.7 million square feet in North Texas. An eight-year veteran at Cushman & Wakefield, Schendle was a top-producing broker in 2020, ranking among the top 100 in the company.

Ryan Mitchell, Director of Diversity Equity & Inclusion

Ryan Mitchell will take on the DE&I efforts of CBRE’s Advisory Services and Real Estate Investments businesses. His more than 20 years of experience includes former positions as vice president of talent development and D&I at Texas Capital Bank, as well as adjunct professor at Warner University.

LaTonya Woodson, Director of Global Diversity Equity & Inclusion

LaTonya Woodson will lead diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts for CBRE’s Global Workplace Solutions. With more than 20 years of experience, Woodson was previously a global DE&I senior manager at Korn Ferry. She is on the advisory council of the North Texas Chapter of the National Diversity Council and is a DE&I facilitator at Cornell University.
